Time was running out, and her impending labor on those unforgiving streets posed a grave risk to both her life and the lives of her unborn pups. Just one day before she was due to give birth, our rescue team received an urgent call about her plight.

The team quickly brought her to a warm and secure clinic, unaware of the medical challenges that awaited them. In a safe environment, she successfully delivered seven beautiful puppies. However, complications arose with the eighth puppy, necessitating an immediate surgical intervention.
As the mother fought to survive for her babies, she faced a new crisis. After the initial surgery, she developed severe internal bleeding that required another emergency procedure. The veterinary team worked tirelessly for twenty-four hours to stabilize her condition before they could address the bleeding.
Despite her initial recovery, the mother’s health continued to deteriorate. After days of fighting, her body, already weakened by starvation, began to reject nourishment. The veterinary staff did everything they could to save her, but her exhaustion proved too great.
Heartbreakingly, she passed away in the hospital, leaving behind her seven orphaned puppies. Her sacrifice ensured that her pups would never know the suffering she endured on the streets.
In her absence, a dedicated group of foster caregivers stepped up to care for the tiny orphans. They took on the responsibility of feeding and nurturing the puppies, waking up every few hours to bottle-feed them through their vulnerable early days.
Over the course of forty days, the puppies flourished under the loving care of their fosters. One by one, they grew stronger and healthier, eventually finding their forever homes where they would be cherished and loved.
