In a dramatic rescue, a stray mother dog led rescuers to her hidden puppies at an animal sanctuary. The mother, visibly exhausted and malnourished, had sought refuge in a rugged area where she buried her puppies in an abandoned fox den.

Rescuers Jackie and Louise first spotted the fearful mother near the sanctuary but were initially unable to locate her puppies. Concerned for their safety, they returned the next day, driven by the urgency to find the vulnerable family.
