In the remote areas of Crete, Greece, a fragile dog named Nala was found hiding beneath thick bushes, appearing lifeless and waiting for an end that seemed inevitable. Her frail body was nothing but skin and bones, and she lacked the strength to escape or react to the world around her. Fortunately, a call from three Good Samaritans prompted Takis, the founder of Takis Shelter, to rush to her aid.
Upon his arrival, Takis was struck by Nala’s precarious condition. He gently offered her treats, and to his surprise, she accepted them, revealing a glimmer of hope. Realizing she couldn’t stand, he carefully carried her to safety, promising her a better life.
