Donna Lochmann and her team from Stray Rescue of St. Louis arrived promptly, despite the pouring rain. They prepared themselves for a potentially frightened and defensive animal. However, what they found was far from their expectations.
As Donna stepped out of her vehicle, the puppy didn’t retreat into the shadows. Instead, he bounded towards her, full of energy and hope, his tiny tail wagging furiously.
